How Does Interchange Pricing Work?

Interchange++ and Blended are the most widely used pricing models for card transactions. The main difference between the two is transparency.

Interchange++ is most commonly enabled for big corporations and blended rate for smaller.

With Interchange++ you pay for what you use vs. blended where you pay an average processing cost plus a fixed markup.

The blended rate is easy to understand, but not transparent . And there's no guarantee your processor will share any savings with you made from lower interchange fees.
